It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our former partner, Rich Miller. Rich began practicing law in 1976 and was a partner at Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP for more than 16 years. He also served as the Chair of the Business Practice Group for several years. Rich was an active member of the Oregon law community, writing the “Federal Generation Skipping Tax” chapter of the Oregon State Bar publication, Administering Oregon Estates. After retiring in 2020, Rich enjoyed time with family and friends in beautiful Bend, Oregon while volunteering with Lawyers in the Library. An avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan, Rich was a thoughtful man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed.
