We are please to announce that Jason Bush has joined our firm as an associate in the complex torts practice group.  He began his career with a national insurance carrier, working on cases in litigation. During this time, he handled cases from beginning to end, arbitrating over one hundred cases and trying 14 to a jury verdict.  He also spent a year with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office, independently handling a misdemeanor docket and trying 10 cases.

In 2004, Bush received his undergraduate degree in political science from Truman State University. He went on to earn a master’s degree in political science from Illinois State University and a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. While in law school, Bush was associate editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review.

“In today’s environment young litigators struggle to gain trial experience, “said Managing Partner Andrew Burns.  “Jason has managed to try 24 cases to verdict in his young career.  We are thrilled to add him to our litigation team.”

When he isn’t working, Bush is an avid fan of his hometown team, the Kansas City Royals. He is also a busy dad, exploring Portland’s many parks and zoo with his toddler son. He is a member of the Oregon Bar Association, the Multnomah Bar Association and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel.
