We are excited to announce the promotion of Chester Hill to the position of Partner with the firm.

Chester is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on all areas of commercial, financial, and real estate litigation. He represents commercial landlords in disputes against tenants, including both breach of contract and eviction actions. He also advises insurance companies on coverage matters and litigates those matters as well. Additionally, he represents professionals, including accountants and lawyers, in malpractice and related actions. He also defends businesses, including financial institutions and insurance companies in federal and state proceedings brought by regulators and private parties.

“Chester has been an invaluable member of the Cosgrave team since joining us fresh out of law school in 2016,” said the firm’s managing partner Paul Berg. “He has developed into an excellent litigator and a first chair trial lawyer.”

Chester earned his undergraduate degree in economics, cum laude, from The George Washington University. Later, he graduated magna cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School.

Outside of the office, Chester enjoys running, playing pick-up basketball, and playing the guitar.
