We are please to announce the return of attorney Megan Evans to the firm as a member of the Construction Law Practice Group.

Though Megan has previously worked at the firm, she has spent the last two and a half years as a member of Mentor Graphics Corporation’s in-house legal team. While her work there dealt with end-user software licensing, her current representation of general contractors, developers and sub-contractors focuses on complex construction litigation. This diverse work experience makes her an asset to the firm.

“We are excited to welcome Megan back,” says Managing Partner Jill Laney. “Megan is known to us an excellent lawyer and her recent in-house work gives her unique insight into complicated litigation issues.”

Megan studied as an undergraduate at the University of Oregon, where she later went on to earn her law degree. She was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2005 and began her career as a law clerk in the Lane County Circuit Court for the Honorable Maurice K. Merten.  Her time as a law clerk provided her valuable experience with trial practice and procedure.
