We are pleased to announce that attorney Amber A. Beyer has joined our firm as an associate.  Her practice focuses on general litigation and complex torts in a variety of industries including:  beverage, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and real estate.

Prior to joining Cosgrave as an attorney, Amber was a summer law clerk at the firm during the summer and fall of 2016. She also interned with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried three cases to verdict and gained valuable courtroom experience. Additionally, she clerked with the Oregon Department of Justice, Financial Fraud and Consumer Protection Section for a year.

Amber earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Oregon and went on to earn her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she graduated cum laude. During this time, she served as a Lead Article Editor at the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Prior to law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal for a solo practitioner in Portland.

“We’re excited to welcome Amber to our team,” said Managing Partner, Paul Berg, “she brings a valuable litigation perspective.”

Amber is a member of the Oregon State Bar. She is also a member and volunteer with Mazamas Mountaineering Organization. She is a dedicated bike commuter, active mountain climber and enjoys the outdoors with her partner Jordan and their dog, Shasta.
