We’re pleased to announce that Eamon P. McMahon has joined Cosgrave as an associate attorney.  His practice will specialize in representing individuals and businesses in matters of product liability, tort, and business litigation.  Prior to joining Cosgrave, Eamon worked as a deputy district attorney for Multnomah County and tried more than 70 cases to verdict, including 49 jury trials.

Eamon received his bachelor’s degree in history and legal studies from Northwestern University. He went on to study at UCLA School of Law, where he received his law degree in 2015. During his time as a student, he was a finalist in the Jones Day 1L Moot Court Competition.  He also co-authored an article for Los Angeles’ largest legal newspaper, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, alongside Judge Mark E. Windham, titled “Judicial Gatekeepers: The Changing Role Of Judicial Officers and Expert Testimony.

Eamon is a native Portlander, and a member of the Oregon State Bar. He is also a proud coach of Grant High School’s esteemed We The People: The Citizen and The Constitution team. He enjoys hiking, camping, running, and cooking in his free time.
