Josh Dennis has joined the firm as an associate. His practice areas include personal injury and property liability defense, and insurance coverage opinions and litigation.  Previously, he worked for two years representing insurers and self-insured employers in administrative and employment law matters, including workers compensation and OSHA compliance.

A native of southern California, Dennis received his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Channel Islands in 2009. He then went on to the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in 2013. While studying, he worked as a law clerk for the San Diego City Attorney’s office.

He was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Jeffrey B. Barton of the San Diego Superior Court and worked as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Bernard G. Skomal, of the United States District Court, Southern District of California. In addition, he served as the Editor-In-Chief for the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law.

“Joshua’s varied practice aligns perfectly with many of the firm’s strengths. His experience makes him an asset,” said Managing Partner Andrew Burns.

Dennis is a member of both the Oregon State Bar and the Washington State Bar. In his free time, he likes to explore everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer and, given his passion for the outdoors, this includes hiking the Gorge and enjoying the Oregon coast with his wife Kristin, a native Oregonian, and their dog. You can also find him hitting the links, snowboarding on Mt. Hood, volunteering with the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts or rooting for his favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
