Tom Christ will be honored at ACLU of Oregon’s Liberty Dinner on February 26th, which recognizes Oregon attorneys who have argued cases before the United States Supreme Court. This honor stems from the 1995 case Vernonia School District 47J v. Acton, where he challenged the notion of mandatory drug testing for student athletes, focusing on matters of fourth amendment infringement and parental consent.

The awards dinner, in which he will be honored alongside two other Oregon attorneys, is to be held at the Oregon Convention Center.
