On March 18, 2020, President Trump signed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) that provides limited paid leave for employees who are unable to work due to some circumstances related to COVID-19. The DOL has now issued a model notice explaining the leave that needs to be distributed to employees by April 1st. A copy can be found here:

Employee Rights: Paid Sick Leave and Expanded Family and Medical Leave under The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)

If your workplace is still open, you can display the poster where you display your other labor and employment posters. If your office is closed, or if your employees are working remotely or are otherwise unable to come to the workplace right now, the notice should be mailed or emailed to them. If you’ve had to lay off employees, you do not need to send them a copy.
