We’re pleased to announce that attorney Alex Tsiavos has joined our litigation team as an associate.

Prior to joining Cosgrave, he worked in solo practice, handling a diverse array of litigation and non-litigation matters. His career has included legal work in litigation, business formation, governance matters, business transactions, bankruptcy, and general estate planning.

His practice experience includes work in a variety of industries, including: beverage, hospitality, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, and many more. He is also experienced in personal injury and property damage liability law.

Tsiavos earned his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is the treasurer of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Portland and volunteers as a judge for the Washington County Classroom Law Project mock trial competition.

Alex is a member of the Oregon State Bar Corporate Counsel Section, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Oregon and New York, and has also practiced in Illinois and North Carolina. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and playing squash. He is a husband, University of Michigan football fan, and avid explorer of Oregon’s outdoor lands.
