Law Practice

With a decade of experience in complex civil litigation, Carla brings a distinct strategic perspective to every matter she handles. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants throughout her career, she understands the motivations, pressures, and tactics that drive each side of a dispute. She uses that insight to anticipate challenges, evaluate risk, and develop practical solutions for her clients.

Carla’s construction practice covers the full spectrum of construction disputes, including contractor and subcontractor conflicts, lien disputes, construction defect claims, and related liability matters. She advises and represents commercial property owners, homeowners, homeowners’ associations, general contractors, and subcontractors in matters ranging from early risk assessment through litigation, mediation, and resolution. Carla also assists clients with construction contract review, drafting, and negotiation, helping them identify and address potential issues before they become costly disputes.

In the product liability and toxic tort arena, Carla represents clients in matters involving exposure to hazardous substances, defective materials, and allegedly dangerous products. These cases demand both scientific understanding and strong litigation judgment, and Carla brings both. She works closely with experts to help clients navigate technically complex claims involving significant liability exposure.

Her practice also includes general liability and personal injury litigation, giving her a broader perspective on the risks, challenges, and strategic considerations that shape complex civil disputes.
