Law Practice

Katlynn represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premise liability, and personal injury. In addition, Katlynn’s practice areas include insurance coverage and appellate matters.

Prior to joining Cosgrave, she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Child Advocacy and Protection Division where she gained valuable trial experience and regularly appeared in court leading to successful outcomes on behalf of her clients.

Education & Bar Admissions

Katlynn graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2019. During law school, Katlynn worked for the Port of Portland in their in-house counsel and for the Washington State Attorney General’s Office in Seattle, WA. Also during law school, Katlynn served as an editor on the Oregon Law Review, the Marketing Director for the Green Business Initiative, and as the secretary of the Student Bar Association.

Katlynn graduated cum laude from Drake University in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree triple majoring in English, History, and Law, Politics, & Society.

Katlynn was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2019 and the Washington State Bar in 2023.

Professional

Katlynn is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, and the litigation section of the Oregon State Bar.

 

Personal

In addition to spending as much time with her husband and daughter, Katlynn enjoys reading, running with her dogs, and listening to podcasts.
