Law Practice
Joseph is an associate attorney and graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School. He originally joined Cosgrave in 2024 as a Summer Law Clerk.
In the years prior to attending law school, he worked at a number of law firms here in Portland starting his career as a legal assistant at a social security disability firm before moving on to work as a case assistant at a civil defense firm where he primarily assisted on personal liability, products liability, and medical malpractice matters.
Education & Bar Admissions
Joseph received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy & studio art in 2015 from Lewis & Clark College. He earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2025, graduating magna cum laude. At Lewis & Clark Law School, he served as an article editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review and was also involved in the school’s Intellectual Property Student Organization and Jewish Legal Society.
Joseph became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2025.
Personal
During Joseph’s free time, he enjoys climbing, attending concerts, reading, playing board games, and taking in all the restaurants, parks, and other activities Portland has to offer with his wife, Laurel.
