Law Practice

Rosie’s practice involves a diverse range of civil litigation including legal malpractice defense, personal injury and property damage, employment, and business disputes.

Prior to joining Cosgrave as an associate, Rosie was a judicial clerk at the Oregon Court of Appeals for judges Robin Aoyagi and Megan Jacquot.  While in law school, Rosie externed for judge Ann Aiken at the United States District Court, District of Oregon, and was a certified law student at Grimm Law Group where she represented indigent criminal defendants.

Education & Bar Admissions

Rosie graduated with honors from the University of California Santa Barbara and earned her law degree, cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School.  During law school, Rosie worked as an article editor at the Lewis & Clark Law Review and was a teaching assistant for the legal writing department.  She also was a member of the Public Interest Law Project and Women in Criminal Law.

Rosie is admitted to the Oregon State Bar.

Rosie is a member of Oregon Women Lawyers and Oregon New Lawyers Division.

Personal

Outside of the office, Rosie enjoys exploring new neighborhoods and cities, going on long walks, and playing with her rambunctious yellow lab Huckleberry. She is also not afraid to admit her love for a good reality tv show.
