Brenda has extensive experience in litigation, state and federal courts, including reviewing and managing complex document discovery. She manages several document databases for multiple areas of law. Her experience includes domestic relations, probate, real estate and business law.
Her paralegal practice currently focuses on personal injury cases and others involving the railroads, trucking, professional liability including claims before various regulatory boards, asbestos defense, workers compensation and property damage including fire loss.
Prior to joining Cosgrave, Brenda spent two years as a paralegal with Willams, Kastner & Gibbs PLLC and prior to that, nine years as a paralegal/office manager for a local sole practitioner firm.
Brenda graduated from Portland State University in 2004 with a B.S. in management/human resources management.
Brenda leads the registration team for the Tigard Tualatin Compassion clinics and has decades of volunteer service in the Beaverton School District and 4H Wildlife Stewards Camp.
With three sons, Brenda has little time to herself, but when she does, she enjoys swimming, reading and hiking with her dogs.
